Dr Who on DVD, so far…

With The Reign of Terror coming out tomorrow, I thought now might be a good time to have a look at just where we are in Who’s journey from VHS onto DVD.

So if you’ve got a complete collection, as of tomorrow this is what it will look like!

all we’re waiting on now is The Tenth Planet, The Ice Warriors, The Mind of Evil & Terror of the Zygons…

With Mind & Zygons scheduled for release soon, that leaves the Cybermen and the Ice Warriors to battle it out for the distinction of being the final DVD release. I reckon the Cybs will win that one…

Jon Pertwee – Whodunnit?

Shortly after he stopped being Dr Who, Jon Pertwee took over as host of Whodunnit, a show that you will certainly remember if you`re of a certain age like myself.

I had no idea this was out on DVD until I came across it on Amazon just now…

I only used to watch this cos Jon was hosting it. As for solving the murders mysteries themselves, apparently Patrick Mower got it right every time…

Season One For Sale – how much?

I don’t know about you, but I shudder to think just how much money I`ve spent over the years buying the same stories over and over again in different formats – never mind bloody action figures and all the rest of it!

We started out with just our Target Novelisations, then they brought out good old VHS and then replaced that with DVD. Let’s take a look at Season One as an example…
