BLOOPERS! – The Horns of Nimon

The Horny Nimon isn`t exactly the best Tom story ever but the upcoming Fan Edit will certainly improve it. In the meantime, here`s some lovely bloopers to be getting on with!

Let`s start off in the Tardis, where bits of the old girl seem to be missing…

Boom Shadow Alert!

Someone really should have aligned that CSO screen properly…

Look – the console`s hollow…

… maybe to allow rooom for someone to get inside? Like K9`s operator perhaps…?

At least we know why one roundel`s missing…

You`d think they`d make the ends of those Skonnon curtain strips the same colour wouldn`t you…

Oh, look, someone`s not stepped back far enough into the Power Complex Soldeed! Zap him again, go on!

Next, watch out for a lovely boom shadow crossing this guard`s face…

Plastic is highly reflective under tv studio lights. You`d think someone would have noticed that by now, wouldn`t you? I mean it is 1979…

Yes it`s the famous lard-arse-has-split-his-trousers one!

Wide shots are always a bad idea when you forget how tall your scenery is…

Boom Shadow Alert!

Simon The Nimon luv, you need a bit of velcro for that bull`s head of yours…

Is that the kind of lighting they have on Skonnos then?

Dunno what this is, but I know we`re not meant to see it. Or the fact that the set stops halfway up the wall…

Studio light in shot… why not, everything else is!

Look closely and you can see the shadow of the camera taking this shot on Sezom`s arm…

It`s not that easy to spot, but believe me, there is a boom shadow crossing this Nimon`s head…

And after all those shadows, here`s a cameo appearance by our old friend, the Boom Microphone!

And finally, those bloody Nimons are so seventies – those are platforms, not hooves at all!

BLOOPERS! – Terror of the Autons

First thing you notice at the start of this story is how the title sequence is a different colour – here`s a quick comparison :

Looks like it was a one off. Anybody know why? Anyway onto the Bloopers!

First up, there`s some very dodgy brickwork in the Doctor`s lab…

Next, someone should really hang that door properly – bloody thing won`t shut!

Next, more dodgy brickwork…

And don`t look too closely inside the Tardis…

And last of all – clock the bloke who throws the plastic mask onto the desk for Jo to put on her face!

Why didn`t they just hand it to her under the desk or when the camera was off her instead? Bonkers.

The Doctor meets Gene Hunt!

One crossover I`d love to see would be Doctor Who and Life On Mars. I mean aside from the obvious similarities between Sam Tyler and The Master, can you imagine Gene Hunt in the TARDIS!

Krynoids – Axons in disguise

A green Krynoid is just an orange Axon with the flu…
